JC Cellars is an urban artisan winery located in the heart of the East Bay. The spacious winery has 1400 square feet of viable entertaining space and a 22 foot tasting room bar with an open floor plan and exposed wine barrels lends a rustic charm. Occupancy can range between an intimate gathering to 150-300 guests depending on chair and table design and entertainment needs.
Pricing
Evening: $500 facility rental fee
Daytime: $250 facility rental fee (Available Monday – Wednesday)
Any additional staffing necessary
Retail cost of wine consumed during the event (Less 10% for quantities of 12 bottles or more plus sales tax)

Deposit
To secure the facility for a specific date a signed contract and the required deposit is due at the time of booking in the amount of 50% of the facility rental fee. Facility deposit required payment by check and is applied towards the balance of the event.
Cancellation
In the event that the client is forced to cancel the event, the client is required to provide written notice to JC Cellars of the cancellation. The deposit is non-refundable.
Catering
The client may use a caterer of their choice and is responsible for arranging the catering. JC Cellars has a full kitchen, equipped with a gas range, oven, microwave and refrigerator, which may be used as a prep area for the caterer you choose. Clients are responsible for procurement of dishes, glasses, silverware and centerpieces for their function. JC Cellars will be happy to provide a list of local caterers upon request.
Beverages
All wine must be purchased from JC Cellars winery. We encourage visiting the tasting room and to sample and select wines to be poured at the event at least 2 weeks prior. JC Cellars is responsible for uncorking, pouring and serving wine in our signature Riedel stemware during the event. By law no one under 21 years of age is allowed to consume or taste alcoholic beverages. JC Cellars may ask guests for identification to verify age.
Additional Information
The tasting room is open to the public from 12pm – 6pm Thursday through Sunday. The facility as a whole cannot be “turned over” to a private event until 6pm but catering and rental equipment can arrive any time during business hours.
JC Cellars has limited tables and chairs that may be used by the client for the event. If JC Cellars furniture is chosen, a floor plan, which outlines where tables and chairs are to be arranged, must be agreed upon 2 weeks prior to your event date. It is the client’s responsibility to set up all other rental furniture or equipment.

60 – plastic stack chairs
10 – 6’ rectangular tables
2 – 60” round tables
15 – table linens (black) - $2 washing fee per linen applied to final bill
