2009 St Peter's Church Vineyard Zinfandel
“I worked with this vineyard at Rosenblum Cellars and can honestly tell you this is Mecca for Zinfandel. In fact, the St. Peter’s Church selection of Zinfandel is planted throughout the Rockpile Appellation and we know how amazing those wines are; just imagine them on steroids!” Tasting Notes Our first vintage has produced a wine of astronomical proportions. An opaque/purple robe draws you into a wine whose aromatic profile is like an evening of fireworks on 4th July. Explosive reds, sparkly blues and violets that twinkle down. This wine takes me back to my childhood reminding me of barbeques and the smell of charcoal wafting from the grill. True Americana in every way.
