2010 Misc. Stuff Red Blend
Tasting Notes This wine has a beautiful purple/black color with aromatics of black cherry and blackberry, with subtle hints of roasted earth. The palate is lush and in a word decadent, loaded not only with fruit, but a great mineral backbone that will keep this wine a live and fresh for years to come
A blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre and Petite Sirah, the 2010 JC Cellars Misc, Stuff is a big, ricj blend that has loads of fruit and texture, as well as freshness and structure. IT offers up knockout armoas of clean black fruits, smoked meats, lavender, herbs de Provence, and minerality on the nose. This flows to a full-bodied, beautifully put together wine that has layers of sweet fruit, juicy acidity, and firm, edgy tannin that needs a year or more to integrate. It is beautifully done and will have a decade of drinkability. 93 Points. |
